From May 23 to 26, 2025, the VI Republican competition of professional skills Profskills Belarus 2025 was held in Minsk. The official opening of the competition took place in the multifunctional sports and entertainment complex "Chizhovka-Arena". The Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus A.I. Ivanets addressed the contestants and experts with a welcoming speech.

Third-year student of the mechanical engineering faculty of BrSTU Timofey Krukovsky took 2nd place in the "CAD Engineering Design" competency. 12 contestants competed in the competency - 7 representatives of Belarus and 5 foreign participants. The contestants completed the task of creating a 3D model of an engine in CAD systems, creating a realistic image of it, animating its operation, as well as creating drawings of engine parts and assemblies.

Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of BrSTU Vladimir Mikhailovich Golub acted as an expert of the competition.

Students of the branch of Brest State Technical University (BrSTU), Polytechnic College, Dmitry Vakulchik and Ilya Malakanov, returned home with victory.

The guys took second place among seven teams of competition participants in the Geodesy competency. They demonstrated excellent mastery of modern technologies and equipment, successfully coping with tasks even in difficult weather conditions. The competition included work with high-tech geodetic equipment and various specialized programs, including Credo software.

In addition to the honorable second place, the students also received special awards and valuable gifts from the software developer Credo-Dialog, becoming the best participants in the nomination "Work with Credo 3D Scan software".

The leader of the successful team was the top-category teacher of the Polytechnic College Diana Yuryevna Belomesova, whose leadership contributed to achieving high results.
