1) Deadlines for submitting documents

Deadline for submitting documents to receive an invitation to study:

• until September 15 for the main faculties
• no time limit for the preparatory department

The official deadline for submitting documents to the selection committee from foreign citizens based on the results of an interview in Russian (in the case of studying in English – an interview in English) is until October 15 (annually).

The deadline for submitting documents to the selection committee can be extended until November 30.

2) Documents for obtaining an invitation to study

Foreign citizens need to receive an invitation to study in order to open a student visa.

To receive an invitation, you send copies of the required documents to the E-Mail address of the International Department of BrSTU This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

• a copy of the national (or foreign) passport, the pages with the photograph and the surname;
• a copy of the school certificate with a notarized translation into Russian;
• a copy of the birth certificate with a notarized translation into Russian;
• a copy of the medical certificate;
• a medical certificate stating the HIV-negative status of the applicant.

3) Before enrolling in the university and starting studies, a foreign citizen

• goes through the registration procedure in the Citizen and Migration Department within ten working days upon arrival in the Republic of Belarus;
• concludes an education and accommodation contract;
• pays the tuition and accommodation fees for the year;
• concludes a compulsory medical insurance contract;
• undergoes a mandatory medical examination.

4) Documents to be submitted to the selection committee upon arrival in Belarus

• original documents on education indicating the subjects studied and the grades obtained in them at the exams with a notarized translation into Russian;
• the original medical report on the state of health (issued in healthcare institutions of the Republic of Belarus);
• a medical certificate stating the HIV-negative status of the applicant (issued in healthcare institutions of the Republic of Belarus);
• original birth certificate with a notarized translation into Russian;
• enrollment application of the standard form;
• compulsory medical insurance contract;
• 6 photos 3x4 cm in size.

A preventive vaccination card or an extract from the preventive vaccination card indicating vaccinations and the date they were carried out since birth, including the tuberculin test, must be handed to the university health center.

5) Informing the employees of the international department

• about the expected date of arrival in the Republic of Belarus,
• about the route,
• the need for a meeting.

7) Conclusion of the education contract

Prior to enrolling in the university, a foreign citizen concludes an education agreement with the university, which specifies the rights and obligations of the parties.

At the preparatory department, the tuition fee is 1600 US dollars per year.

At the main faculties, the tuition fees for international students are:

• at the full-time department (instruction in Russian) – 2200-2600 US dollars per year;
• at the full-time department (instruction in English) – 3500 US dollars per year for 1st year students;
• at the correspondence department – 2000 US dollars per year;
• in the master`s degree program (instruction in Russian) – 3000 US dollars per year;
• in the master`s degree program (instruction in English) – 3700 US dollars per year.

ATTENTION: On the territory of the Republic of Belarus tuition fees are paid in Belarusian rubles at the exchange rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus which is  valid on the day of payment; when paying from abroad, payment is made in US dollars.

8) University admission Interview

Before admission to the 1st year of the main faculties of the university, a foreign citizen is interviewed in Russian or English in accordance with the intended language of instruction.

Before admission to the 1st year in the specialty 7-07-0731-01 "Architecture" and 7-07-0731-02 "Architectural Design", in addition to the interview in the Russian language, foreign applicants also undergo an interview in the discipline "Creativity", including "Drawing", "Composition", "Drafting", providing an appropriate creative work.

9) Living conditions

A foreign student is guaranteed a place in the dormitory of the university. Dormitories with all amenities are located on the campus within a five-minute walk from the university (block system, rooms for 2-3 people). The estimated cost of living for the academic year is $370.
