The annual final practice of students of the military department of Brest State Technical University has ended. Young cadets spent a whole month on the territory of an active military unit, demonstrating an excellent combination of theory and practice.

Future lieutenants proved themselves to be real fighters! Over the past month, future officers mastered all the necessary military disciplines - from handling combat weapons to the basics of combat tactics. They mastered target shooting, the technique of quickly assembling and disassembling weapons, worked out the techniques of accurate firing and learned the principles of artillery fire control. Unit commanders had to master not only the theoretical aspects of the equipment, but also the practical use of military equipment and mortars.

The students successfully completed the final tests, demonstrating worthy knowledge before the examination committee. In addition to the written test, the exam also included a test of practical skills.

On Saturday, August 9, the traditional ceremony of swearing in young reserve officers took place at the military town. Vice-Rector of the University Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich and Head of the Military Department Alexey Vyacheslavovich Isakov addressed the students with sincere congratulations and parting words. The solemn ceremony of taking the Military Oath was also attended by parents, close relatives and friends of the future officers.
