Law Enforcement Officers Meet with International Students at Brest State Technical University

At the beginning of the new academic year, law enforcement officers met with international students at Brest State Technical University.

Vadim Vasilyevich Rovensky, Deputy Head of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, reminded those present of the key provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus governing the stay of foreign citizens in our country. He also provided information on the wide range of official employment opportunities for foreigners and warned them against becoming victims of cybersecurity crimes.

Dmitry Tadeushevich Lyganovsky, Head of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Brest Moskovsky District Police Department, spoke to international students about the importance of following registration procedures, the need to promptly submit applications for temporary residence extensions in the Republic of Belarus, and obtaining visas for travel abroad.

Senior Lieutenant Evgeny Aleksandrovich Mushta, an employee of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus, briefed students on the specifics of enforcing the regime of the State Border of the Republic of Belarus and the liability that arises as a result of illegal activity related to illegal migration.
