A Journey to the Heart of Belarusian Statehood: A Tour of the Independence Palace by BrSTU Representatives

Representatives of Brest State Technical University, as part of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus," took part in a tour program. The tour took place at one of the most important symbols of the modern appearance of the Republic of Belarus—the Independence Palace.

This is the official residence of the President of Belarus, located on Pobediteley Avenue in Minsk. This building has become a landmark of the country, attracting tourists and delegations from across the country and abroad.

The palace hosts important international events: negotiations between heads of state, agreements, and key political events significant for Belarus's domestic development and international policy.

The tour participants had a unique opportunity to admire the luxurious and magnificent interior of the building, which symbolizes the independence and self-sufficiency of Belarus. Every design element emphasizes the significance and uniqueness of the place, the historical path of the Belarusian people, and the country's modern achievements.

The construction and decoration of the Palace of Independence were the result of the collective efforts of the best domestic specialists and enterprises. It was their work that created an architectural masterpiece that has become a symbol of national identity.

The Palace opened on October 24, 2013, exactly twelve years ago. The building itself is located on one of the capital's main thoroughfares—Pobediteley Avenue. Nearby is State Flag Square, and a little further away is Victory Park, the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and the famous "Minsk – Hero City" stele.

"The emotions are overwhelming! Walking through the halls where our President works daily, seeing with my own eyes the place where fateful decisions for our country are made, it feels as if you are part of all these processes.

At the same time, I am overwhelmed with a sense of pride for Belarus, for our specialists and enterprises whose efforts brought this Palace to life!" "This is truly a symbol of the independence and sovereignty of our Belarus!" shared Natalia Semenovna Vinnik, Head of the Center for Media Communications and Publishing at BrSTU.

"Inspired by the beauty and grandeur of the Palace of Independence, we returned with unforgettable emotions and an even greater desire to create and build for our homeland," concluded BrSTU representatives.
