This week, Brest State Technical University (BrSTU) hosted meetings with leading specialists from Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU). The visit marked a significant milestone in the development of academic mobility and the exchange of expertise between the architectural schools of Belarus and Russia.
Visiting BrSTU to conduct a series of lectures and practical workshops for students majoring in Architecture and Architectural Design were:
Yulia Sergeyevna Yankovskaya — Doctor of Architecture, Professor, and Head of the Department of Urban Planning at SPbGASU;
Darya Vladimirovna Boytsova — Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural Design at SPbGASU.
The lecture program covered key areas: tradition and innovation in architectural education, typological and compositional-artistic aspects of design, and strategies for the tourism-oriented development of historical and cultural heritage.
The partnership between BrSTU and SPbGASU provides a solid foundation for future joint scientific and creative projects. Such visits enable our students to adopt best academic practices, broaden their horizons, and find inspiration to create unique urban environments.
We sincerely thank our colleagues for the productive meetings and invaluable experience! Onward to new achievements!
