On June 18, 2025, the awarding ceremony for the laureates of the XXXI Republican competition of students' scientific works was held in the assembly hall of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.

The XXXI Republican competition of students' scientific works was held from October 1, 2024 to March 7, 2025. Students and graduates of 53 higher education institutions took part in it. At the second stage of the competition, more than 2.7 thousand scientific works were presented. Based on the results of the expert evaluation, 60 works received the status of laureates, another 749 were assigned to the first category. The winners were awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Education and cash prizes. In addition, the results of over 90% of the competition works have already been published, reported at conferences, implemented in the educational process and production.

The young scientists were congratulated by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanovich Ivanets. "We see a genuine interest of our youth in scientific research activities. This is confirmed by the fact that for the 31st time the Ministry of Education has held the Republican competition of scientific works of students. More than 3.5 thousand works were submitted to the competition, about 60 works became laureates. This suggests that today's youth is inquisitive, they want not only to receive a quality education, but also to generate new knowledge," said Andrei Ivanovich.

Kapereiko Yulia Vasilievna, a master's student of the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology of BrSTU, became a laureate of the competition in the section "Construction and Architecture". Her research on the topic "Modern methods of regulating heat supply systems of civil buildings and energy-saving measures" received high marks from the jury.

Yulia's scientific supervisor is Vladimir Gennadievich Novoseltsev, head of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation of BrSTU, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor, awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus for conscientious and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity, successful management of scientific works of students, winners of the XXXI Republican competition of scientific works of students.
