Head of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of Brest State Technical University, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Andrei Ivanovich Veremeychik made a presentation at the VIII International Symposium on Tribo-Fatigue, which was held from August 12 to 15, 2025 in Harbin (China).

The symposium became a platform for the exchange of experience between leading scientists from Belarus and China in the field of wear-fatigue testing, nanomaterials, coatings and technologies that reduce wear and increase the service life of products, materials science and engineering physics. The event was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Harbin Polytechnic University.

Representatives of leading scientific institutions of Belarus took part in the forum. Andrey Ivanovich presented a scientific study on the topic: "Experimental studies and computer modeling of the stress-strain state of steel samples subjected to laser exposure." In addition to the scientific program, the participants visited the Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, as well as manufacturing enterprises specializing in the field of aviation production and precision instrument making.
