A delegation from Brest State Technical University headed by Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Natalia Petrovna Yalovaya took part in the All-Belarusian Patriotic Forum "Unity of the People in the Memory of Generations", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
The forum became a unique opportunity to unite the efforts of government agencies, teachers, youth and search organizations to preserve historical memory.
The key events of the program include project presentations, discussions, exhibitions, the premiere of the theatrical performance "Calendar of Memory: Pages of Fate" and a screening of a film dilogy about the tragic fate of the Belarusian people during the occupation.
At the forum, BrSTU students presented a unique project implemented by the university - the Republican Youth Patriotic Project "Citadel of Memory. Echo of War".
The project is aimed at fostering a sense of patriotism and respect for the historical heritage of Belarus, involving young people in studying the heroic past of our Motherland. This is a space for the creative implementation of ideas aimed at strengthening the unity of the nation and forming the civic responsibility of the younger generation.
The team of BrSTU was awarded the gratitude of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus "for active work in preserving the historical memory of heroism and encouragement of the Belarusian people in the Great Patriotic War and significant contribution to the patriotic education of youth."
