On April 29, 2026, a gala concert dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Brest State Technical University was held in the assembly hall of BrSTU. Students, faculty, staff, graduates, and distinguished guests gathered in the hall to celebrate this important date in the university's history.

The celebration opened with the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus, after which the hosts recalled that the university's history was shaped by its youth—those who dreamed, acted, and won. The theme of "the birth of thought" centered on the idea, the dream, and the desire for something new that marks the beginning of great achievements.

BrSTU Rector Andrei Nikolaevich Parfievich addressed the audience with a congratulatory address. He noted the significance of the anniversary and the contribution of each generation to the university's development.

A special part of the celebration included the awards ceremony for the best graduating students. Fifty-six students, representing all faculties and distinguished in their studies, research, creativity, and community service, received certificates. The awards were presented by BrSTU Rector and Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Natalia Petrovna Yalovaya and BrSTU Vice-Rector for Research Nikolai Nikolaevich Shalobyta.

The concert program featured performances by the university's best performing groups. The audience enjoyed literary and musical numbers, solo and choral compositions, and modern and folk dances.

The celebration concluded with the BrSTU anthem, and all the concert participants gathered on stage. The hosts emphasized: 60 years is not only history, but also the beginning of new achievements. The university continues to open its doors to goal-oriented, creative, and responsible young people who are writing its new page today.

BrSTU's anniversary is not a one-day event. Throughout the year, the university will host celebratory events, scientific conferences, creative competitions, sports competitions, and awards ceremonies. Many more reasons to be proud, meet, and celebrate new achievements lie ahead!
