A solemn oath-taking ceremony for first- and second-year students majoring in Customs Affairs took place at Brest State Technical University, which became a significant event in the formation of the future generation of professional personnel of Belarusian customs officers.
The event took place in an atmosphere of deep respect for traditions and responsibility to the state. Among the honored guests who supported the guys at such an important stage of personal development were outstanding representatives of university science and the department's leadership.
The parting words were delivered by Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, Rector of BrSTU. He emphasized the importance of high qualifications and honesty in the work of future employees of customs authorities.
The Head of the Brest Customs Office Sergey Nikolaevich Yakuta, expressing confidence in young specialists, recalled the special role that specialists in this field play in protecting the national interests of the Republic of Belarus. Particular attention was paid to the importance of preserving the traditions of conscientious performance of official duty and developing a sense of national identity among young people.
The students, taking the oath, promised to serve their state honestly and responsibly, observing the law and performing their professional duties with dignity.
At the end of the ceremony, the best students were awarded with distinctions. II degree distinctions were received by Alekseyuk Anastasia Dmitrievna, Lysyuk Vadim Valerievich, Omelyanyuk Olga Evgenyevna and Chernitskaya Angelina Petrovna. The only award of the first degree was awarded to Kovalevskaya Yulia Dmitrievna.
Also among the first-year students, the following students were noted for their achievements: Ekaterina Andreevna Baranchik (score 8.4), Maria Nikolaevna Seylo (8.6), Ulyana Aleksandrovna Telushko (8.2) and especially student Anna Vitalievna Kalinka, who showed the best result with a score of 9.0.
These awards symbolize the recognition of students' achievements and serve as motivation for further striving for high professional standards and selfless service to the Fatherland.
