Today, an important meeting between representatives of general secondary education institutions and Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Petrutskaya took place in the assembly hall of Brest State Technical University. The event was part of the national project "Pedagogical Non-Council." The meeting was attended by BrSTU Rector Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich and Head of the Main Education Department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Natalya Anatolyevna Kalinovskaya.
Ekaterina Aleksandrovna began the meeting by congratulating all participants on the upcoming holiday—Teacher's Day. This was followed by a fascinating interactive session, during which those gathered actively participated in a game, passing the ball back and forth and adding wishes. This helped create a warm atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust among the teachers.
During her speech, the Deputy Minister shared valuable recommendations aimed at facilitating teacher planning and increasing student engagement in children's public organizations, such as the Octobrists and Pioneers. She emphasized the importance of an innovative approach to teaching and patriotic education of youth.
Concluding her speech, Ekaterina Aleksandrovna asked the audience to evaluate the quality of the lesson. Using the symbolic gesture of passing the ball, the participants shared their impressions and thoughts, completing the feedback loop.
The event then continued under the leadership of Natalia Anatolyevna Kalinovskaya, Head of the Main Education Department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. Under her guidance, a constructive dialogue took place on current issues and prospects for the development of the regional education system.
Furthermore, Ekaterina Aleksandrovna also found time to meet with student leaders from higher education institutions in the Brest Region. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss issues related to the role of students in public life and their participation in initiatives aimed at developing patriotism and civic responsibility.
The visit concluded with a tour of BrSTU's educational laboratories, where guests were able to familiarize themselves with the modern training conditions for future engineers.
