The 10th Programming Olympiad for schoolchildren ended at BrSTU

The Xth Olympiad in programming for schoolchildren has ended at the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems of Brest State Technical University. 90 students from educational institutions in the Brest region took part in the qualifying round. The Olympiad was held with the support of the Brest local charitable foundation “New Generation”. 26 students from Brest, Pinsk, Beryoza, Malorita and Kobrin reached the final round. All participants showed a high level of training, knowledge and ability to use standard algorithms and modern programming technologies.
As a result of the event, first degree diplomas were awarded to: Valery Efremenko (Gymnasium No. 4 of Baranovichi); Artem Tkach (Gymnasium No. 4, Baranovichi); Tsvirko Zakhar (State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No. 14, Baranovichi”).
Second degree diplomas were awarded to: Egor Kushnerevich (Secondary School No. 12 of Pinsk); Slonevsky Nikita (State Educational Establishment “Maloritsky District Gymnasium”); Ostapchuk Maxim (State Educational Institution “Gymnasium No. 1 named after F. Y. Perts, Pinsk”).
Third degree diplomas were awarded to: Anton Fadeev (Secondary School No. 12 of Pinsk); Evgeniy Isakov (Gymnasium No. 1 of Baranovichi); Maxim Vashkevich (State Educational Institution “Lyceum No. 1 named after A.S. Pushkin, Brest”).
All participants received prizes from the Brest Science and Technology Park, as well as from BrSTU.
Money rewards were presented to the winners from the Belarusian party “White Rus'” by the chairman of the Moscow district branch, Vladimir Veniaminovich Borovenko.
