At the Faculty of Economics of BrSTU, a meeting was held between 2nd and 3rd year students of the specialties “Finance and Credit” and “Accounting, Analysis and Audit” on current tax issues, with representatives of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Moskovsky District of Brest.
The Head of the Information and Explanatory Work Department, Inna Nikolaevna Lyalyuk, spoke about the activities of fiscal authorities in the Republic of Belarus at the present stage, the procedure for taxing the income of individuals and the self-employed, as well as planned changes in the procedure for registering individual entrepreneurs from October 1, 2024. Students actively asked questions about planned changes to the Tax Code, about opportunities for internships and entering the civil service in the tax authorities.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics Victoria Vasilyevna Zazerskaya thanked Inna Nikolaevna for the meeting and the opportunity to receive up-to-date information about taxation first-hand.
