As part of the career guidance event “Vacations at BrSTU”, future applicants got acquainted with the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Brest State Technical University.
At a meeting with the Dean of the faculty, Inessa Pavlovna Pavlova, the students learned about the features of training specialists in the construction industry in modern conditions, the opportunities for students to participate in various projects and subsequent employment after graduation.
Senior students shared their experiences of both studying and participating in public activities on interactive platforms and answered questions that interested them.
The young people had the opportunity to take part in master classes on the manufacture of decorative products from gypsum, modeling and destruction of structural models, and the “Parametric Modeling in Architecture and Design” workshop. Future applicants visited a specialized closed testing ground of the Department of Construction Technology, the laboratory of the Department of Geotechnics and Transport Communications, and also took part in testing metals and welded joints.
