Awarding the participants of the international literary event “Whose lines are these?”

On April 2, at the Brest State Technical University, the results were summed up and awards were given to participants in the international literary event “Whose lines are these?”, dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus, which took place from March 20 to April 2. The organizers of the event were the Pskov State University and the Belarusian-Russian University.
The main goal of this event is to popularize reading among young people and expand their horizons and knowledge about poets and writers of Russia and Belarus.
More than 70 people from 11 universities of the Russian-Belarusian University Union “Together” Consortium, including BrSTU students, took part in the action. Videos with excerpts from literary works of Belarusian and Russian 2024 anniversary writers were posted on the pages of the BrSTU library on the social networks VKontakte and Instagram, and social network users guessed who these lines belonged to.
Certificates and memorable gifts were presented to the participants of the event by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Petrovna Yalovaya and the Director of the Library Yulia Vyacheslavovna Azarkevich.
Also, the participants and organizers of the event summed up the results of the event in the format of a video bridge on the basis of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Pskov State University", where they shared their impressions, exchanged experience in the interaction of libraries with readers and discussed the possibilities of further joint events aimed at getting to know the culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia and Belarus.
We thank the students of BrSTU for their active participation and love of literature!
