10 golden rules to maintain your health

On April 10, an educational meeting was held at the Brest State Technical University with Candidate of Medical Sciences, transplantologist, chairman of the Social and Educational Institution “International Center Donation Dialysis Transplantation” Lavrinyuk Rostislav Petrovich.
The meeting aims at raising awareness about the importance of kidney health “Healthy Kidneys for Everyone, Everywhere”. The main function of the kidneys is to filter and remove harmful substances and excess salts from the body, so any disturbances in their functioning lead to rapid intoxication of the body and failure of all systems.

  1. Do not abuse salt and meat foods.
  2. Control your weight. Avoid excess weight and do not lose it suddenly. Eat more vegetables and fruits, limit your consumption of high-calorific foods.
  3. Drink more fluids.
  4. Do not smoke, do not abuse alcohol.
  5. Exercise regularly.
  6. Do not abuse painkillers.
  7. Protect yourself from contact with organic solvents and heavy metals.
  8. Do not overexpose yourself to the sun and avoid hypothermia in the lumbar region, pelvic organs, and legs.
  9. Monitor blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol levels.
  10. Regularly undergo medical examination to assess the condition of the kidneys.
